Individual SPort Psychotherapy

Being an athlete is not easy. An athlete faces potential injury, interpersonal struggles, and confidence crises daily. You are constantly being pushed past your physical and psychological limits.

Thus, we see that… 1 in 4 college athletes struggle with mental illness and 10-15% of all athletes experience psychological issues severe enough to warrant counseling.

While it may be hard to acknowledge or admit— let the numbers speak for themselves.

A therapist can support you with the demands and stressors that you experience daily.

Mental Skills Coaching

Do you ever feel like you are “holding back”? That you can do better— but something is standing in your way?

Mental skills are internal capabilities that help an athlete improve performance by learning to control their minds efficiently and consistently as they execute attainable goals.

Work with a personal coach to hone in on core mental skills that will help you “find your edge” over competitors.

College Recruting Consulting

A little over 7% of high school athletes (about 1 in 14) go on to play a varsity sport in college and less than 2% of high school athletes (1 in 54) go on to play at NCAA Division I schools

Getting recruited is a difficult and confusing process. Thus, we’ve consulted with current college coaches and current college athletes to learn key tactics and strategies that are critical to “standing out” and “making the list.”

Let us help you find the team and school that matches your athletic, academic, and personal priorities.

“Ordinary people who learn to believe in themselves are capable of extraordinary things.”

Athletes may exhibit greater rates of PTSD (up to 13%–25% in some athlete populations) and other trauma-related disorders relative to the general population.
